Burnley Tunnel 3D Model

ASEMA has developed full 3D models of the Burnley and Domain Tunnels (Melbourne, Australia) as part of the upgrade on the Automatic Incident Detection (AID) system .

The models were undertaken to assist in determining the number of motion sensitive cameras required within the tunnels to achieve the maximum effectiveness of the system.

The final model was also exported to VRML format to allow in-depth study of each camera view.

The cameras were modeled using the actual lens specifications.

All signs, lights, fire boxes & ceiling fans were also included.
